overwhelmed with the beauty of these magnificent creatures. Just awe.

And what a character this guy was, he seemed to find pleasure in rolling in the
dirt, creating a poof of dust, creating a cloud on the people peering in...

The "Good Book"... the "Joke Book"... (let me explain...)

Okay, so Scarlett recently found my childhood Bible Studies "Bible" that I received for
good attendance when I was 9 years old. I must be honest in saying that I don't
attend Church regularly as an adult. In my childhood... more so. However,
when Scarlett stumbled upon my Bible in a box... she hasn't wanted to put
it down and she now insists on taking it every where with us...

Recently we were about to go on a walk and she wanted to
bring the "Good Book" with us on our walk.

I paused and thought, oh my gosh, life is about to get very interesting...
Frank and I are very open individuals, although probably not very 'religious'
and for some reason Scarlett keeps calling the "Bible"... the "Joke Book". We swear
we never started her on this. Frank simply told her the "Bible" was the "Good Book"
and Scarlett, in her delightful little way, put her own little spin on things and
named the book for herself. When asked what she is holding or reading,
she replies "the Joke Book!". Oh boy... door to door sales next???

So You Think You Can Dance... Scarlett!!!!!

Scarlett loves the show, "So You Think You Can Dance" and is
becoming quite the star herself with her amazing moves...

Scarlett, on the other hand, was happy to observe and had no interest in going
within 10 feet of the clown. Scarlett does not like clowns or dogs... not one little bit...

Greta, however... well her face pretty much says it all.
Too funny.

Such delightful personalities and so very different!

Our Summer Adventure Begins...

This year for our family holiday we decided that Daddy was going to go on a cycling tour
from Vancouver up through the British Columbia Interior and the girls and I would
follow along to set up camp at campsites along the way and make meals for
daddy and keep him company through the nights before he would head
out each morning with his buddy, Damien.

What a fantastic holiday! The best ever for the girls and I.
The girls and I loved every minute of camping and hope to go again soon.

The boys on the other hand... well Frank and Damien unfortunately fell ill
about half-way through and had to halt the cycling trip. We are home
now and the boys are feeling much better and we are already
planning our camping/cycling trip for next year...
